Strengths
· Strong hands
· Great after the catch
· Route running/ creating separation
Garrett Wilson maybe my favorite player in the class as he is a dynamic playmaker with strong hands and amazing body control. He has strong hands and creates a lot of separation with his elite route running. He is very well-rounded receiver who can even run block to a decent level.
Weaknesses
· Build
People will point to a lack of speed, but I don’t think he has a problem with his speed the only problem I see is sometimes his concertation can be off.
Final Analysis
You can put him anywhere on the outside in the slot wherever and he will be a very dynamic player for your offense. I expect him to bulk up this offseason to prepare for the more physical corners but he’ll be an elite route runner from day 1 who can go take underneath routes and turn them into a big play or go vertical. Wilson is my WR1 going into the combine.
