Kansas City Chiefs @ Baltimore Ravens
This game features a potential QB duel for the ages as Patrick Mahomes leads the Kansas City Chiefs into Baltimore to face Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. The Chiefs have made it to the AFC Championship game for the sixth straight year. Kansas City defeated the Bills once again last week and now faces the Ravens who defeated the Texans 34-10 last week. Lamar Jackson is the favorite to win his second MVP and now as the great Ric Flair would say, “To be the man you gotta beat the man”. The Chiefs are the reigning Super Bowl Champions and it’s something poetic about having to beat the champs to get there. This game will be close and very well could be the rare game where we get a great defensive game and still a great QB duel. I have gone back and forth on this game all week but in a close game, I’ll take Mahomes to advance to the Super Bowl.

Detroit Lions @ San Francisco 49ers
The Lions have made it to the NFC Championship game for the first time since 1992 in what is one of the best storylines in the NFL this season. Detroit defeated the Bucs last week to get to this point while the 49ers escaped against the Packers. This game is going to be extremely physical and it’ll be interesting to see if Deebo Samuel will be available, but even if not the 49ers still have three of their big four. Offensive coordinator Ben Johnson saw the success that Green Bay had last week and should be able to have similar production this week. The Lions offensive line is one of the best in football and if they give Goff time they could get the upset. The matchup of the game is the Lions defensive line vs the 49ers offensive line, which outside of Trent Williams is average. If the Lions can limit the 49ers run game and put pressure on Purdy, the upset is there to be had. I have ultimate faith in this roster and in Kyle Shanahan to reach
the Super Bowl.
