RECORD LAST WEEK: 9-4
RECORD FOR THE SEASON:119-69
Thursday, December 7th, 7:15PM CT
New England Patriots 2-10 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 7-5
I really wish I didn't have to watch this game but it’s my job, and with that being said, a game with two BAD offenses takes place on Thursday night. The Patriots couldn’t even muster up three points in their 6-0 loss to the Chargers last week while the Steelers were dominated at home to the lowly Cardinals in a 24-10 loss. The Steelers should be able to take this game at home.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 5-7 @ Atlanta Falcons 6-6
Tampa Bay is struggling with injuries, but they’ve played better as of late, and now have a chance to get a big win and put themselves in a tie with the Falcons for first place in the NFC South. Atlanta picked up a 13-8 win over the Jets last week, now back at home and possibly without their number one corner A.J. Terell, it’ll be interesting to see the Falcons game plan for Mike Evans. In the end, give me the Falcons to maintain their hold on the lead in the South.

Confidence Level:4
Indianapolis Colts 7-5 @ Cincinnati Bengals 6-6
This game looks a bit more fun after the Bengals were able to pull off the upset on Monday night over the Jaguars. Indy won an overtime thriller over the Titans and with this game being important for the AFC Wild Card race, I think it’ll be one of the more fun games to watch during the Noon slate. The Bengals defense is bad and it seems like Indy has found their offensive identity. I'll go with the Colts on the road here.

Confidence Level:5
Jacksonville Jaguars 8-4 @ Cleveland Browns 7-5
At the writing of this blog I have no idea the status of Trevor Lawrence who suffered a high ankle sprain on Monday in the Jags loss to the Bengals. Joe Flacco played well in the Browns loss to the Rams last Sunday and hopefully the Browns can get Denzel Ward back this week. I think the Browns get it done at home.
Jaguars 16 Browns 19
Confidence Level:5
Detroit Lions 9-3 @ Chicago Bears 4-8
The Lions have struggled with turnovers the last few weeks but still sit at 9-3. The Bears have been better, even giving the Lions all they could handle a few weeks ago in Detroit. Even with Chicago’s improved play, the Lions run game should be able to lead them to victory on the road giving the Lions 10 wins for the first time since 2014.
Lions 28 Bears 24
Confidence Level:8
Carolina Panthers 1-11 @ New Orleans Saints 5-7
The Panthers have been bad in all facets, now on the road against a Saints team, still fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive. New Orleans will need to win games like this against inferior talent. The Saints give Carolina their 12th loss.
Panthers 17 Saints 24
Confidence Level:7
Los Angeles Rams 6-6 @ Baltimore Ravens 9-3
The Rams have been really good offensively this season and overall just one of the more fun teams to watch. But now, traveling to Baltimore to face the Ravens, who are well rested coming off a bye week, it looks like it’ll be challenging for LA to keep their win streak alive. I think Odell has a big game against his former team and the Ravens get the win.
Rams 20 Ravens 30
Confidence Level:8
Houston Texans 7-5 @ New York Jets 4-8
The Texans got a big win over the Broncos last week while the Jets dropped their fifth straight game last week in a loss to the Falcons. Zach Wilson is back starting for the Jets and you can only imagine how shaken his confidence is after all the Jets have put him through this season. Give me C.J. Stroud and the Texans getting the win on the road in MetLife.

Seattle Seahawks 6-6 @ San Francisco 49ers 9-3
The Seahawks have dropped three straight and their once-lockdown defense is getting gashed in recent weeks. Meanwhile, San Fran is riding high after winning 42-19 over the Eagles last week in Philly. The Niners should be able to keep up their hot streak over Seattle.
Seahawks 16 49ers 31
Confidence Level:10
Minnesota Vikings 6-6 @ Las Vegas Raiders 5-7
The Vikings have come back to earth in recent weeks with back-to-back losses with their last loss coming to the Bears. The Raiders have played better since Antonio Pierce took over as interim coach. The Vikings should be able to get the win in Vegas and get back over 500.
Vikings 21 Raiders 17
Confidence Level:6
Buffalo Bills 6-6 @ Kansas City Chiefs 8-4
This game is hard to predict as the Bills have struggled this season, but these also aren’t the same ole Chiefs as they face offensive issues. Buffalo is coming off a bye and fighting for their playoff lives, but the Chiefs have been the boogeyman for Buffalo, and even with the Chiefs struggles it’s hard for me to see them losing two straight games.
Bills 24 Chiefs 27
Confidence Level:3
Denver Broncos 6-6 @ Los Angeles Chargers 5-7
The Broncos five-game win streak came to an end in a heartbreaking loss to the Texans, but Denver is still very much in the thick of things for an AFC Wild Card spot. The Chargers too are still in the hunt but probably can’t suffer any more losses. The Denver defense allowed a lot of big plays to C.J. Stroud and the Texans. I expect them to tighten things up and for Russell Wilson and the offense to get back to their run heavy offense in what I think will be a Broncos win.
Broncos 20 Chargers 17

Philadelphia Eagles 10-2 @ Dallas Cowboys 9-3
The game of the week is for first place in the NFC East as the Eagles travel to Dallas. These two teams played a fantastic game a little over a month ago, and the Eagles pulled out the victory 28-23 in Philly. The Cowboys have been great at home and Dak Prescott is playing at an MVP level. With that being said, give me the Cowboys to get the win at home and hand the Eagles their second straight loss.

Green Bay Packers 6-6 @ New York Giants 4-8
Other than Dak there is arguably nobody playing quarterback better than Jordan Love. The Packers have saved their season, and now have a chance at the playoffs, even though things looked bleak at a point in time. Love and the Packers got a huge upset win over the Chiefs last Sunday in Lambeau. Now they’ll take that momentum into MetLife and get a win over the Giants.
Packers 24 Giants 14

Tennessee Titans 4-8 @ Miami Dolphins 9-3
The Titans suffered a loss in overtime to their division rival, the Indianapolis Colts, last Sunday while the Dolphins beat the Commanders like a drum 45-15. Miami should have no trouble on Monday night getting their 10th win of the season.
