RECORD LAST WEEK 7-8
RECORD FOR THE SEASON: 126-77
Thursday, December 14th, 7:15PM CT
Los Angeles Chargers 5-8 @ Las Vegas Raiders 5-8
The rough slate of Thursday night games continues as we’ll get Easton Stick vs Aiden O’Conell. Both these teams sit at 5-8 and are coming off disappointing home losses. The Raiders didn’t score a point last week in their 3-0 loss to the Vikings. The Chargers will not only be without Justin Herbert but also wide receiver Keenan Allen. I’ll take the Raiders to get a victory at home.

Minnesota Vikings 7-6 @ Cincinnati Bengals 7-6
Jake Browning has led the Bengals to two straight wins that has kept their season alive after it felt like doomsday when Joe Burrow suffered a wrist injury ending his season. Minnesota has struggled the past few weeks and benched Josh Dobbs last Sunday, Nick Mullens will start this Sunday. I think the Bengals will get their third straight win.

Pittsburgh Steelers 7-6 @ Indianapolis Colts 7-6
A massive game in the AFC Playoff picture between the Steelers and Colts will be an interesting game. Both of these teams have exceeded expectations this season, but the Steelers seem to be regressing to their talent level. Back-to-back losses to the Patriots and Cardinals have Pittsburgh clinging to a playoff spot. Indy suffered a 34-14 defeat to the Bengals last Sunday and will look to bounce back at home. Indy should be able to get a win and strengthen their playoff chances.

Denver Broncos 7-6 @ Detroit Lions 9-4
Denver has won six of their last seven and now travels to Detroit to face a Lions team coming off a disappointing loss to the Bears last week. Detroit has been much better at home than on the road. The Lions have struggled with turnovers which plays right into the Broncos hands as they force a lot of them. Denver needs every win they can get to maintain pace in a tight AFC playoff race, but I’ll take Detroit in this one.

Chicago Bears 5-8 @ Cleveland Browns 8-5
Chicago has been much better recently and that showed in a win over the NFC North-leading Lions last week. Cleveland has been fantastic despite the numerous season-ending injuries to their star players. Joe Flacco has played well for the Browns in recent weeks and that should continue here with a home win over the Bears.
Bears 20 Browns 27
Confidence Level:8
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 6-7 @ Green Bay Packers 6-7
Both these teams need this game badly. Tampa Bay is still in play for the NFC South title after a win over the Falcons last week; while Green Bay suffered a setback to their playoff hopes with a loss to the Giants. I expect Green Bay to bounce back at home and move to 7-7.
Bucs 19 Packers 23
Confidence Level:4
Kansas City Chiefs 8-5 @ New England Patriots 3-10
We haven’t seen the Chiefs like this in the Mahomes era. They are out of sorts and everything seemed to boil over last week when Mahomes threw a tantrum at the end of the loss to the Bills. New England got a road win over the Steelers, but I expect an upset Kansas City to get back on track and defeat the Patriots.
Chiefs 24 Patriots 10
Confidence Level:10
Atlanta Falcons 6-7 @ Carolina Panthers 1-12
The Falcons had a huge opportunity to take a huge step forward in their chase to win the NFC South. They lost to Tampa Bay at home, now they face a Panthers team at this point that is trying to find some type of good in this lost season. The Falcons should be able to get the easy win against their division foes.
Falcons 27 Panthers 13
Confidence Level:9
New York Giants 5-8 @ New Orleans Saints 6-7
The Giants have managed to win three straight games with Tommy DeVito at quarterback, now they travel to New Orleans to play a Saints team that is in a three-way tie for the NFC South division title. New Orleans ends the Giants winning streak and gets their seventh win.
Giants 13 Saints 16
Confidence Level:5
New York Jets 5-8 @ Miami Dolphins 9-4
The Dolphins suffered an embarrassing loss to the Titans last Monday and now look to bounce back at home against their AFC East rival Jets. New York dominated the Texans last week in a 30-6 victory but now on the road against a Dolphins team that wants to wash that last loss out of their mind. Miami will get the victory and their 10th win.
Jets 17 Dolphins 27
Confidence Level:10
Houston Texans 7-6 @ Tennessee Titans 5-8
Houston is looking to get back into the win column after losing last week on the road in New York. There’s quite a possibility that they’ll be without C.J. Stroud who is in the concussion protocol. The Titans got a big-time victory over the Dolphins and now back at home, I think they get the victory over the beat-up Texans.

San Francisco 49ers 10-3 @ Arizona Cardinals 3-10
Who looks better than the 49ers right now? It looks like they have hit their stride at the right time and now face the Cardinals who are coming off a bye. Arizona has been much better with Kyler Murray back but going against this Niners team is not something anyone wants to do right now.
49ers 28 Cardinals 16
Confidence Level:10
Washington Commanders 4-9 @ Los Angeles Rams 6-7
The Commanders are difficult every week. It's something new with them, now they face a Rams team that has been an exciting team to watch. LA suffered a defeat to the Ravens last week. This should be a high-scoring affair, but the Rams should win at home.
Commanders 26 Rams 29
Confidence Level:8
Dallas Cowboys 10-3 @ 7-6 Buffalo Bills
In the game of the week, Dallas faces Buffalo. Both these teams picked up huge wins as the Cowboys took first place in the East, with a win over the Eagles, and the Bills got a much-needed win over the Chiefs. Dallas has been great on both sides of the ball and it’ll be interesting to see how they respond after such a big win last week. I do think Dallas will get the win on the road.
Cowboys 30 Bills 27

Baltimore Ravens 10-3 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 8-5
Baltimore has hold of the number one seed in the AFC, and a win over the Jags would take them one step closer to having home-field advantage in the AFC. Jacksonville has lost two straight games and with Trevor Lawrence still ailing with his high ankle sprain, the Ravens should be able to pick up the win in primetime.

Philadelphia Eagles 10-3 @ Seattle Seahawks 6-7
The Eagles have lost back-to-back games to their two biggest threats in the NFC, now traveling to play in Seattle, which is not easy to do at all. Philly looks to get back in the win column. I think Seattle, who is fighting for their playoff lives, will give Philly all they can handle but in the end, the Eagles will come out with the win.
