Kansas City Chiefs 4-2 @ Denver Broncos 2-4
The Chiefs and Broncos always play close games, no matter the record, but the Chiefs have won 7 straight in the series dating back to 2015, and with them coming off back to back home losses, you know MVP Patrick Mahomes won’t go down without a fight. The Broncos who started off 0-4 have won 2 in a row and now look to move within a game of first place in the division. The defense has come along finally under Head coach Vic Fangio. Over the last two games the Broncos defense have 7 sacks, 5 interceptions, and is allowing only 6.5 points per game. The Chiefs, however, are a different story. Mahomes and the Chiefs offense will look to get back to their explosive ways, but the Chiefs defense and the mounting Chiefs injuries will lead to their third straight loss and a big win for the Broncos.

San Francisco 49ers 5-0 @ Washington Redskins 1-5
The 49ers let people know they were serious against Cleveland, they added to that by shutting down the normally explosive Rams offense, now they get to come down a bit and play a lesser opponent in Washington who got their first win last week against the abysmal Dolphins. The 49ers defense is elite, and Washington is a fluttering mess. San Francisco is 4-1 vs Washington since 2008 expect that to improve to 5-1 this week.

Arizona Cardinals 2-3-1 @ New York Giants 2-4
The rookie quarterbacks will duel it out as Kyler Murray and the Cardinals take on Daniel Jones and the Giants. The Cardinals hung on barely to beat the Falcons last week while Daniel Jones and the Giants played the Patriots tough in New England, but ultimately suffered defeat. The Cardinals get Patrick Peterson back, which should be a huge help. Meanwhile, the Giants will be happy to get Evan Engram and Saquon Barkly back this week which will tremendously help Daniel Jones. I believe the healthy additions will propel the Giants to victory.

Houston Texans 4-2 @ Indianapolis Colts 3-2
The winner takes over first in the AFC South, the Texans got a huge win in Kansas City last week while the Colts had the week off. Houston looks improved in pass protection and it shows with Watson’s great play the past two weeks. Indy has built possibly the best offensive line in football led by guard Quentin Nelson, and that has been a key factor in their impressive start to the season. Both teams have strong rushing attacks, as Houston ranks 5th in rushing yards per game, while the Colts rank 4th. However, Houston ranks 8th in rush defense, while the Colts rank 19th and the Colts secondary has not been bad, but it hasn’t been that impressive either. Frank Reich is a much better coach than Bill O’Brien and I think giving him the extra week to prepare for Watson and the Texans should lead to a big divisional win for the Colts.

Oakland Raiders 3-2 @ Green Bay Packers 5-1
The Raiders after all the drama they went through in the offseason and training camp with Antonio Brown, still somehow sit a game out of first place, they have been led by rookie running back Josh Jacobs, and a feisty defense. Green Bay on the other hand escaped on Monday Night against the Lions. Green Bay’s defense has been great and giving Aaron Rodgers a defense is a scary sight. Green Bay has become more run heavy the past few weeks and it has helped especially with the injury to star Wide Receiver Davontae Adams, who is dealing with turf toe. Green Bay has won 7 in a row against Oakland, I expect them to make it 8 on Sunday.

Minnesota Vikings 4-2 @ Detroit Lions 2-2-1
The Vikings since their putrid offensive performance against the Bears have been back to what people expected them to be. Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen are finally happy with the offense, but Detroit has a really good secondary and after they suffered an emotional defeat, they will come out fired up at home, to right last week’s wrong. The Vikings are 0-2 in the division this season and know that with everyone in their division close in record, they’ll need to win their divisional games going forward. I think the Lions squeak one out because I still don’t trust Kirk Cousins to be consistent, although he has incredible weapons. The Lions could easily be undefeated right now and I think they win this week.

Jacksonville Jaguars 2-4 @ Cincinnati Bengals 0-6
The Jaguars finally dealt superstar corner Jalen Ramsey this week, now they can get all the distractions out of their head and focus on football. Gardner Minshew has played impressive each week, and although the Jags offense was held to 6 points last week against the Saints, that shouldn’t be held against Minshew. The winless Bengals rank last against the run and Leonard Fournette has had a bounce back season. The Jaguars have a talented defense, even without Ramsey, and even though the Jaguars are just 1-4 against the Bengals in their last 5 games against each other, I just can’t see the Bengals getting their first win this week.

Miami Dolphins 0-5 @ Buffalo Bills 4-1
The Bills defense has been incredible and has them in solid playoff position. The Dolphins, well they seem to be getting ready for the draft. The Bills have won 6 of 7 at home against the Dolphins and I don’t feel like there’s much to say in the Dolphins favor. Bills improve to 5-1
Dolphins 10 Bills 20.

Los Angeles Rams 3-3 @ Atlanta Falcons 1-5
The Rams have lost 3 games in a row and they lost 3 games all season last year. The Rams are all over the place right now with injuries as Aquib Talib and John Johnson are now on IR, and even with the addition of Jalen Ramsey, the Rams need to find themselves before it’s too late. Jared Goff didn’t even reach 100 yards passing last week against the 49ers, but this week against this Falcons defense, the Rams should put on a show and get back on track. The Falcons offense has done impressive things, but their defense has cost them games. The Falcons have won 4 in a row against the Rams, but this week I think the Rams make one more stop than the Falcons.

Los Angeles Chargers 2-4 @ Tennessee Titans 2-4
The Chargers are sputtering, and after a loss at home against the Steelers, and their third string quarterback, it seems as though they’re free falling. The Titans who have looked good some weeks have looked terrible in others, especially the last two weeks, in which they have scored 7 points two weeks ago, then got shutout last week. Marcus Mariota has been benched for Ryan Tanehill, and now they hope to turn things around, but Phillip Rivers, I feel, will get the Chargers back on track this week.

Baltimore Ravens 4-2 @ Seattle Seahawks 5-1
This will be a fun game with two big storylines, we get to see Lamar Jackson vs Russell Wilson, and we get to see Earl Thomas return to Seattle for the first time since signing with Baltimore this offseason. We get to see two super elusive quarterbacks duel it out. Last Sunday Lamar Jackson became the first player in the Super Bowl era to pass for 200 yards and rush for 150 yards in a regular season game. Baltimore, however, has struggled on defense, they are 31st in yards allowed per play, and now they must face the red-hot Russell Wilson, yeah, give me the Seahawks.

New Orleans Saints 5-1 @ Chicago Bears 3-2
Teddy Bridgewater has made plays week after week to help the Saints win, but this week is much harder going against the very talented Bears defense. The Saints defense themselves have played very well, but now they must travel to Chicago. The Saints have won four in a row against the Bears dating back to 2011, but without Drew Brees, I don’t know if the Saints can get it done this week. I expect a close game and a Bears win.

Philadelphia Eagles 3-3 @ Dallas Cowboys 3-3
Another first place game goes down in Big D as the Eagles take on the Cowboys. The Eagles and the Cowboys both had Super Bowl aspirations coming into the season, but neither has showed the consistency that led people to believe in these two teams. Dallas has lost three straight and got upset last week, by a winless Jets team, while the Eagles got obliterated by Kirk Cousins and the Vikings last week. Both teams are banged up and their secondaries have been a mess, but the Eagles have been banged up all season, and I’m sure they’re use to it by now. I have the Eagles winning this one and taking sole possession of first place in the East.

New England Patriots 6-0 @ New York Jets 2-4
The Patriots and the Jets played earlier in the season and the Jets were crushed 30-14, but now, they have their franchise quarterback back from injury in Sam Darnold, who came back last week to defeat the Cowboys in New York. Now is a different task, as he’ll be asked to beat the Super Bowl champions and their #1 defense. New England is allowing just 8 points per game and with their continued dominance on defense, I don’t see them losing this week.
