NFL WEEK 7 PREDICTIONS

RECORD LAST WEEK:10-5

RECORD FOR THE SEASON: 58-35 (62%)

Thursday, October 19th, 7:15pm CT

Jacksonville Jaguars 4-2 @ New Orleans Saints 3-3

The Jags visit NOLA on a short week, with Trevor Lawrence dealing with a banged-up knee. That means I’m making my pick based on assuming he’ll play. The Saints defense is tough but the offense has been inconsistent, if Lawrence plays, give me the Jags.

Jaguars 21 Saints 17

Confidence Level:2

Sunday, October 22nd, Noon Games

Detroit Lions 5-1 @ Baltimore Ravens 4-2

The Lions have a legit claim to be the best team in the NFC thus far, and now face the Ravens in what could be a game-of-the-week matchup. The Lions have a top-10 offense and defense and with the Ravens offense still not clicking, I’m going to pick the Lions to get a big road win.

Lions 27 Ravens 23

Confidence Level:3

Las Vegas Raiders 3-3 @ Chicago Bears 1-5

It’s a game where both teams could be starting their backup quarterbacks, as Jimmy G and Justin Fields deal with their respective injuries. The Bears have looked better in recent weeks, but I trust the Raiders just a tad more.

Raiders 24 Bears 16

Confidence Level:4

Cleveland Browns 3-2 @ Indianapolis Colts 3-3

The Browns are coming off a massive win over the 49ers last Sunday, now they face a Colts team who had a disappointing performance against the Jaguars last Sunday. Cleveland’s defense has been on a historic pace to start the season and they should put together another great effort in a win over the Colts.

Browns 23 Colts 13

Confidence Level:6

Buffalo Bills 4-2 @ New England Patriots 1-5

Josh Allen has owned the Patriots in recent years and this should be no different. The Bills offense struggled in their 14-9 win over the Giants. Mac Jones has been horrific the last few weeks, just simply say, give me the Bills to win.

Bills 28 Patriots 10

Confidence Level:10

Washington Commanders 3-3 @ New York Giants 1-5

The Commanders defeated the Falcons last week while the Giants suffered a tough loss to the Bills. Washington’s defense should also have success against this Giants offense and get their second straight win.

Commanders 20 Giants 9

Confidence Level:7

Atlanta Falcons 3-3 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3-2

Both these offenses were hard to watch last week, and now they face each other for first place in the NFC South. I have no confidence in either team but since the Bucs are at home, I’ll pick them to win.

Falcons 20 Bucs 23

Confidence Level:1

Sunday, October 22nd, 3pm Games

Pittsburgh Steelers 3-2 @ Los Angeles Rams 3-3

The Steelers are coming off a bye while the Rams won 26-9 over the Cardinals. The Rams aerial attack can have a lot of success against the Steelers secondary. Pittsburgh's offense has been up and down and I can’t trust that going against a Rams defense that has been much better than expected this season.

Steelers 21 Rams 26

Confidence Level:7

Arizona Cardinals 1-5 @ Seattle Seahawks 3-2

The Cardinals have played tough for the most part this season despite their record while the Seahawks have been slightly above average. Seattle is always a tough place to play and they have the better team, so give me Seattle.

Cardinals 14 Seahawks 30

Confidence Level:8

Green Bay Packers 2-3 @ Denver Broncos 1-5

The Packers are coming off a bye week and head to Denver. The Broncos have been an absolute embarrassment and I have nothing to say about them other than the Packers win.

Packers 24 Broncos 17

Confidence Level:8

Los Angeles Chargers 2-3 @ Kansas City Chiefs 5-1

The Chargers are coming off a tough loss to the Cowboys on Monday night and now head to Arrowhead to play a Chiefs team that is winning in different ways than we’re used to seeing them in the Patrick Mahomes era. The Chiefs defense has been elite this season, while the offense has had struggles getting off the ground. However, in my opinion, that makes them morevdangerous, as this makes KC more versatile.I have KC getting the win this week at home.

Chargers 16 Chiefs 21

Confidence Level:9

Sunday, October 22nd, 7:20pm CT

Miami Dolphins 5-1 @ Philadelphia Eagles 5-1

The game of the week has the Dolphins traveling to Philly in a battle between two former Alabama Quarterbacks when Tua Tagovailoa faces Jalen Hurts. The Dolphins offense has been insane, and now they face a Eagles defense that has struggled against the pass. This game should be a shootout with Jalen Hurts looking to bounce back after his three-interception performance last week against the Jets. I’m picking Philly to win this game, but not confidently.

Dolphins 31 Eagles 35

Confidence Level:1

Monday, October 23rd, 7:15pm CT

San Francisco 49ers 5-1 @ Minnesota Vikings 2-4

The 49ers lost their first game of the season last week to the Browns and now look to bounce

back on the road at Minnesota. The Niners are banged up and could be without Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel, but even still, this Niners team should bounce back and get the win.

49ers 26 Vikings 20

Confidence Level:8
