San Francisco 49ers vs Kansas City Chiefs

This is one of the more exciting Super Bowl in recent memory. The 49ers defense vs the Chiefs offense obviously is the marquee matchup, but the 49ers offense vs the Chiefs defense is also intriguing. The Chiefs defense has made significant improvements over the past month while San Francisco’s offense has been underrated. The 49ers have run on 74.8% of the plays this postseason while Kansas City has allowed 4.3 yards per carry since week 13, and held Derrick Henry to 69 yards on 19 carries. That is a matchup I cannot wait to see. The Chiefs lead the NFL in receptions of 30+ yards and receptions of 40+ yards, but will Mahomes have the time to go deep with the 49ers defensive line being so dominant? The 49ers QB pressure, when rushing 4, is 33.5% with Dee Ford on the field. In the end, I believe in my Preseason Super bowl pick, the Chiefs, because Mahomes and this offense is too special, and the Chiefs defense has vastly improved. Jimmy G and the 49ers offense will get theirs, but in the end, Mahomes will prove why he’s the best Quarterback in football.
