RECORD LAST WEEK 8-5-1
RECORD THIS SEASON 91-58-1
Thursday, November 18th, 2021 - 8:20 PM ET
New England Patriots 6-4 @ Atlanta Falcons 4-5
Don’t look now but the Patriots seem to be back. New England has won two straight and are a half game back behind the Bills for the division lead. The Falcons were completely embarrassed last week by the Cowboys, and now on a short week will look to bounce back. Atlanta is already without Calvin Ridley, now it sounds like they’ll also be without their do it all offensive weapon, Cordarelle Patterson. Atlanta will play New England closely, but in the end, I expect the Patriots to pull out their third straight win.
Patriots 24 - Falcons 17
Sunday, November 21st, 2021 - 1:00 PM ET
Indianapolis Colts 5-5 @ Buffalo Bills 6-3
The Colts defeated the Jaguars last week and now are looking to get a huge win over the Bills. Buffalo got back on track last week over the Jets, and now back at home, look to find their consistency from the beginning of the season. The Colts strength is running the ball, but the Bills defense only allows 3.8 yards per carry. I don’t know if Carson Wentz will be able to win the game for them so, I’m going with the Bills in a game I expect to be close, but then Buffalo will pull away late.
Colts 21 - Bills 34
Baltimore Ravens 6-3 @ Chicago Bears 3-6
The Ravens are coming off a disappointing loss to the Dolphins last Thursday and now look to bounce back in Chicago. The Bears are coming off their bye week, but last we saw them, they almost upset the Steelers. I believe the Bears will keep them hanging in this game, but in the end, Baltimore will get the win.
Ravens 24 - Bears 20
Detroit Lions 0-8-1 @ Cleveland Browns 5-5
Baker Mayfield is beat up, but he’s expected to play this week. The Lions came close to their first win of the season, but ended up tying with the Steelers in what was a very sloppy game. I expect the Browns to bounce back in a major way this week.
Lions 16 - Browns 28
Houston Texans 1-8 @ Tennessee Titans 8-2
Houston is coming off a bye, but even with the extra time, I still can’t see them upsetting the Titans who are absolutely on fire and winners of 6 straight games. I expect the Titans to roll to an easy victory over Houston.
Texans 13 - Titans 30
Green Bay Packers 8-2 @ Minnesota Vikings 4-5
For the first time, maybe since 2010, Green Bay‘s defense may be better than their offense. The Vikings have been up and down, but last week they showed some of the potential that I, and many others, knew they had. The Packers are arguably the best team in the NFL right now, but the Vikings are desperate to maintain with the rest of the pack in the NFC. I believe in the Green Bay defense to keep being elite and for Aaron Rodgers to put up a better performance than last week in his first game after COVID.
Packers 27 - Vikings 20
Miami Dolphins 3-7 @ New York Jets 2-7
A battle between two bottom tier AFC East foes goes down this weekend as the Dolphins look to carry their momentum from a huge upset win over the Ravens into this week. The Jets got destroyed by the Bills at home last week. Now, they make a quarterback change as Mike White and his Cinderella story come to an end, and Joe Flacco gets the start. I see the Dolphins winning this game and improving to 4-7.
Dolphins 20 - Jets 10
New Orleans Saints 5-4 @ Philadelphia Eagles 4-6
The Saints have lost two straight since upsetting the Bucs, now they travel to Philadelphia to play a dangerous Eagles team. Philadelphia looked good in their win over Denver last week and with a win this week, they can get back into the NFC playoff chase. I expect a defensive battle, but the Saints have the better coaching and the better defense, and I expect them to earn a hard-fought victory in Philly.
Saints 20 - Eagles 17
Washington Football Team 3-6 @ Carolina Panthers 5-5
It sounds like Cam Newton will start this week, and after his two play two touchdown performance last week, his energy may be the very thing this Panthers team needs. Washington lost Chase Young for the season to a torn ACL. The Panthers defense now should be able to get some help from their offense. The Football Team upset the Buccaneers last week, but I don’t see defeating Carolina this week in Cams first game back in Carolina.
Football Team 14 - Panthers 24
San Francisco 49ers 4-5 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 2-7
The 49ers had a very impressive win over the Rams last Monday, now they look to build on it in Jacksonville. The Jaguars have been playing hard the past few weeks upsetting the Bills and coming up short last week versus the Colts. I expect the 49ers to win a second straight game and move to 500.
49ers 21 - Jaguars 18
Sunday, November 21st, 2021 - 4:05 PM ET
Cincinnati Bengals 5-4 @ Las Vegas Raiders 5-4
The Bengals last seen were on a two-game losing streak, and in their last loss, they were blown out 41-16. The Raiders are also on a two-game losing streak and they got embarrassed at home on Sunday night versus the Chiefs. This game I expect to be a shootout, and, in the end, I have the Bengals getting the win in Vegas.
Bengals 35 - Raiders 31
Sunday, November 21st, 2021 - 4:25 PM ET
Dallas Cowboys 7-2 @ Kansas City Chiefs 6-4
The Chiefs looked to be the team we all know last week, but now the question is, was that a one week thing or are they truly back to themselves? Patrick Mahomes was back to his ridiculous self, throwing for over 400 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Cowboys also proved something last week after losing to the Broncos in week 9, they came out and showed that it was just a down week, destroying the Falcons 43-3. The Chiefs defense has been getting better the past 3 weeks, but now they get a true test playing this crazy talented Cowboys offense. A high scoring game is in order, and I trust the Chiefs to squeak out the victory.
Cowboys 27 - Chiefs 31
Arizona Cardinals 8-2 @ Seattle Seahawks 3-6
The Cardinals should have Kyler Murray back and that’s great news, as the Cardinals offense was awful last week against the Panthers. The Seahawks are trying to keep their playoff hopes alive after being shutout last week in Green Bay. They must hope Russell Wilson will get back to himself sooner than later. The Seahawks will show better fight offensively, but the Cardinals are just the flat-out better team.
Cardinals 28 - Seahawks 23
Sunday, November 21st, 2021 - 8:20 PMM ET
Pittsburgh Steelers 5-3-1 @ Los Angeles Chargers 5-4
Big Ben may be back for this game after sitting out last week due to COVID. The Chargers run defense has been awful, and their offense isn’t clicking the way it was at the beginning of the season. The lack of Chargers fans may hurt them, as it seems every home game for them has more of the away teams’ fans. However, the Steelers are abysmal offensively and honestly, they could’ve lost the few two weeks. I have the Chargers winning this week.
Steelers 23 - Chargers 26
Monday, November 22nd - 8:15 PM ET
New York Giants 3-6 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 6-3
The Giants are coming off a bye week while the Bucs suffered their second straight defeat last week in Washington. I expect the Bucs offense to bounce back, but their defense more, so the secondary has been a huge concern. However, I don’t think Daniel Jones will be able to take advantage of that though. I expect the Bucs to make light work of the Giants on Monday night.
Giants 20 - Bucs 34
