RECORD LAST WEEK:8-6
RECORD FOR THE SEASON:92-60
Thursday, November 14th, 7:15 PM CT
Washington Commanders 7-3 @ Philadelphia Eagles 7-2
Philadelphia is hitting their stride at the right time going into a pivotal divisional clash with the Commanders. Washington suffered a close defeat last Sunday to the Pittsburgh Steelers and now going to Philly on a short week, I feel is a bit much for the Commanders.
Commanders 26 Eagles 31
Confidence Level:7
X-Factor: Jalen Hurts
Best Bet: Jalen Hurts anytime touchdown
Sunday, November 17th, Noon CT Games
Cleveland Browns 2-7 @ New Orleans Saints 3-7
The Saints got an upset over the Falcons while the Browns are coming off a bye week. This
game comes down to which quarterback doesn’t sink his team. Jameis Winston and Derek Carr are more than capable of throwing multiple interceptions, so I’ll go with the better defense which belongs to the Browns.
Browns 17 Saints 16
Confidence Level:1
X-Factor: Jameis Winston
Best Bet:Jameis Winston and Derek Carr over 0.5 interceptions
Indianapolis Colts 4-6 @ New York Jets 3-7
The Colts are going back to Anthony Richardson this week against the Jets. The Jets defense must’ve forgotten how to tackle or something because their performance against the Cardinals was atrocious. Even though I have my doubts about the vibes with the Colts right now, it would take a lot to be as down bad as the Jets.
Colts 23 Jets 20
Confidence Level:2
X-Factor: Jets defense
Best Bet: Colts +4
Jacksonville Jaguars 2-8 @ Detroit Lions 8-1
The Lions played their worst game of the season and still came out on top over the Texans,
while the Jags are just free-falling at this point. I got the Lions in a relatively easy victory for the best team in the NFC.
Jaguars 13 Lions 34
Confidence Level:10
X-Factor: Whatever offensive weapon Ben Johnson feels like scheming plays for this
week.
Best Bet: Lions Moneyline
Green Bay Packers 6-3 @ Chicago Bears 4-5
The Bears fired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron this week after the Bears offense has
been nothing but abysmal through nine games. I don’t expect this change to just flip a switch for the Bears offense this week even if they do play a bit better. The Packers are coming off their bye week and with Jordan Love getting healthier, this should be a win for the Pack.
Packers 24 Bears 14
Confidence Level:10
X-Factor: Jordan Love intrusive thoughts
Best Bet: Over Jordan Love over 1.5 passing touchdowns
Las Vegas Raiders 2-7 @ Miami Dolphins 3-6
The Dolphins saved their season with a win over the Rams on Monday night. The Raiders had a bye last week and now traveling to Miami who has some confidence after their win on Monday should be able to handle the Raiders this week at home.
Raiders 14 Dolphins 27
Confidence Level:9
X-Factor: Tyreek Hill
Best Bet: Tyreek Hill anytime TD
Los Angeles Rams 4-5 @ New England Patriots 3-7
I get to attend this game and see a battle between two of my favorite quarterbacks Matt Stafford and Drake Maye. It’s some decent games in the early slate, but don’t sleep on this game and the amazing throes that will occur in it. I believe the Patriots will keep it close but in the end the Rams will pull out the victory and keep up in the NFC West division race.
Rams 26 Patriots 23
Confidence Level:6
X-Factor: Patriots pass protection
Best Bet: Drake Maye over 27.5 rushing yards
Baltimore Ravens 7-3 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 7-2
This has a case to be the game of the week as the Ravens and Steelers reignite their classic
rivalry. The Steelers usually slow down Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, and they’ll need one of those performances again as Lamar has played the best football of his career this season.
Russell Wilson has shown people he still has it with his play since being named the Steelers
starting quarterback. I’m going to pick the Steelers to win this week and take first place in the AFC North.
Ravens 20 Steelers 27
Confidence Level:3
X-Factor: Stelers pass rush discipline
Best Bet: George Pickens over 66.5 receiving yards
Minnesota Vikings 7-2 @ Tennessee Titans 2-7
This game definitely shouldn't be crazy entertaining. Sam Darnold has begun to show old habits but the Vikings are so talented, they’ve been able to overcome them. That should be the case again this week as the Vikings should get the win on the road.
Vikings 24 Titans 10
Confidence Level:9
X-Factor: Sam Darnold
Best Bet: Vikings moneyline
Sunday, November 17th, 3 PM Games
Atlanta Falcons 6-4 @ Denver Broncos 5-5
This is a game of strength vs strength as it should be a fun matchup between the Falcons
offense vs the Broncos defense. Both these teams lost games that they shouldn’t have as the
Falcons lost to a lesser team in the Saints, and the Broncos were victims of the Chiefs dark
magic. The Broncos offense has progressed throughout the season while the Falcons defense continues to struggle with allowing big plays. I’ll take the Broncos to win at home.
Falcons 21 Broncos 24
Confidence Level:4.5
X-Factor: Bo Nix
Best Bet: Drake London under 60.5 receiving yards
Seattle Seahawks 4-5 @ San Francisco 49ers 5-4
An important NFC West game takes place as the Seahawks look to get back on track vs the
Niners. San Francisco is getting healthier as time goes on, and hopefully Christian McCaffrey
with another week under his belt, gets back to himself. San Francisco was able to blow out the Seahawks the first time in Seattle, now a much healthier version of the Niners should be able to handle Seattle with ease.
Seahawks 21 49ers 36
Confidence Level:9
X-Factor: Christian McCaffrey
Best Bet: Christian McCaffrey anytime touchdown
Kansas City Chiefs 9-0 @ Buffalo Bills 8-2
The game of the week features Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen meeting for the eighth time in their careers. Kansas City is undefeated and the Bills may very well be the only team in the Chiefs way between an undefeated season. The Bills and Josh Allen when they have had some success against the Chiefs, it has been in the regular season. I’m going to roll with the Bills to get the win as the Chiefs have to lose a close game eventually... Right?
Chiefs 24 Bills 27
Confidence Level:4
X-Factor: Josh Allen
Best Bet: Josh Allen over 1.5 passing touchdowns
Sunday, November 17th, 7:20 PM CT
Cincinnati Bengals 4-6 @ Los Angeles Chargers 6-3
The Chargers are officially no longer under the radar as they are 6-3 and host a Bengals team
fighting to stay in the playoff race. Cincy is coming off a heartbreaking defeat to the Ravens last Thursday while the Chargers were able to dominate the Titans on Sunday. The Chargers
defense has been fantastic, but the Bengals offense seems unstoppable right now. I am putting a lot of faith in the Bengals defense but I’m going to pick the Bengals to keep their playoff hopes alive with a road win.
Bengals 30 Chargers 27
Confidence Level:3
X-Factor: Joe Burrow
Best Bet: Joe Burrow over 1.5 passing touchdowns
Monday, November 18th, 7:15 PM CT
Houston Texans 6-4 @ Dallas Cowboys 3-6
The Texans don’t look their best right now, but a game against the Cowboys could be a big
confidence boost. No matter who Dallas starts between Cooper Rush or Trey Lance the Texans should have no problem getting a win this week.
Texans 28 Cowboys 13
Confidence Level:10
X-Factor: Texans pass rush
Best Bet: Texans -7.5
