NFL PREDICTIONS RECORD LAST WEEK 10-4 RECORD FOR THE SEASON 128-78-1
Thursday, December 16th, 2021, 7:20 PM
Kansas City Chiefs 9-4 @ Los Angeles Chargers 8-5
These two teams met earlier in the season and the Chargers got the victory in Arrowhead. The Chiefs will be without key defensive starters such as Chris Jones and L’jarious Sneed. The Chiefs defense has been arguably the league’s best for the past month. The Chargers will get Keenan Allen back and that will help but, in the end, I think this Chiefs team is getting better every week and they get the huge win on Thursday night. Chiefs 26 - Chargers 23

Las Vegas Raiders 6-7 @ Cleveland Browns 7-6
Saturday football includes two huge AFC matchups with the first being the Raiders traveling to Cleveland. The Raiders were blasted by the Chiefs last week and will look to get a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Browns got a huge win over the Ravens last week, and moved into the 7th seed in the AFC. Cleveland will be without their head coach, quarterback, best receiver and their second running back due to COVID, but a healthy Nick Chubb is still available, and I trust the Browns defense to takeover this game.
Raiders 17 - Browns 20
Saturday, December 18th, 7:15 PM
New England Patriots 9-4 @ Indianapolis Colts 7-6
The second huge AFC Matchup includes the one seeded Patriots traveling to Indy. The Patriots are winners of seven straight games while the Colts are 6-2 in their last eight games. Both teams are coming off a bye week which plays to the favor of New England and Belichick. However, it feels like the Patriots will slip up eventually, and I think they will this week against the Colts. Patriots 21 - Colts 27
Sunday, December 19th, 12:00 PM
Dallas Cowboys 9-4 @ New York Giants 4-9
The Cowboys haven’t looked right for the past month, but they have a chance to fix their problems against the Giants. Quarterback Daniel Jones will be back for the Giants but that doesn’t mean much as the Dallas defense, led by Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs, will shut down the already mediocre Giants offense and Dallas will get their 10th win.
Cowboys 31 - Giants 17
Houston Texans 2-11 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 2-11
These two teams are playing for who will have the better draft pick come April. The Jags have had a lot of drama and fired Urban Meyer last night. Houston hasn’t been competitive in a while. I’m rolling with the Jags.
Texans 13 - Jaguars 16
Tennessee Titans 9-4 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 6-6-1
The Titans have struggled since losing Derrick Henry, but their defense has flourished. The Steelers have been up and down and that showed last week versus the Vikings. This should be a defensive slugfest, but in the end I’ll go with Pittsburgh to get a big win at home.
Titans 19 - Steelers 22
New York Jets 3-10 @ Miami Dolphins 6-7
Zach Wilson has struggled with turnovers and the Dolphins defense is on fire. I expect Miami to force the rookie into a few more turnovers and have Tua continue his impressive play leading Miami to their 7th win and keeping them in the playoff race. Jets 17 - Dolphins 27
Washington Football Team 6-7 @ Philadelphia Eagles 6-7
A huge battle with NFC playoff implications the Football Team takes on the Eagles coming off a bye. Washington came back to Earth last week against Dallas. It also doesn’t help Washington’s defense. Line has been depleted by Covid. Philly is one of the best rushing offenses in the league and they will take advantage of that and get the win.
Football Team 23 - Eagles 24
Arizona Cardinals 10-3 @ Detroit Lions 1-11-1
Arizona was controlled by the Rams for much of Monday night’s game, now they look to bounce back without Deandre Hopkins who will be out the rest of the regular season with a knee injury. Detroit suffered a 38-10 defeat last week to the Broncos, now hosting an upset Arizona team. I expect a similar loss this week.
Arizona 35 - Lions 13
Carolina Panthers 5-8 @ Buffalo Bills 7-6
Carolina has completely fallen apart and have all but solidified they’ll miss the playoffs. The Bills have fallen apart lately as well, but they showed some fight last week in Tampa Bay. Buffalo is way too reliant on the pass game and Josh Allen, but that won’t matter this week as the Panthers offense has been abysmal.
Panthers 13 - Bills 30
Sunday, December 19th , 3:05 PM
Cincinnati Bengals 7-6 @ Denver Broncos 7-6
A very underrated game this week and one that has a lot on the line. Joe Burrow and the Bengals travel to Denver. Cincy has lost two games in a row, but it’s hard to doubt them as they have huge wins against the Ravens and Steelers on the road. The Broncos have a two headed backfield with Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams, who both could finish with 1,000 rush yards. Their defense also is second in the league. I expect the Broncos to pull off an “upset” in Mile High and get a huge boost of momentum.
Bengals 24 - Broncos 27
Atlanta Falcons 6-7 @ San Francisco 49ers 7-6
Every time it feels like Atlanta is dead to rights, they get a big win. San Francisco is coming off a big win over the Bengals and now face a Falcons team that is 0-4 and gives up 25 points per game to teams above 500. I expect a heavy dose of George Kittle and Debo Samuel to lead San Francisco to a victory. Falcons 20 49ers 27
Sunday, December 19th , 3:25 PM
Seattle Seahawks 5-8 @ Los Angeles Rams 9-4
The Seahawks have won back-to-back games and the Rams had to shut down their building due to Covid, so stay away from the Rams, right? Wrong, LA got a huge win last week versus Arizona and although will be without some key guys, they have Matthew Stafford and Aaron Donald, and that’s all I need to know this week.
Seahawks 17 - Rams 28
Green Bay Packers 10-3 @ Baltimore Ravens 8-5
Green Bay looks good, and the scary part is they aren’t even fully healthy yet. Baltimore on the other hand isn’t healthy either, but they haven’t looked good. Baltimore lost Lamar Jackson to injury last week and it seems he will be a game time decision this week. Aaron Rodgers is my MVP, and I think he improves his chances with a road win in Baltimore. Packers 31 - Ravens 21
Sunday, December 19th, 7:20 PM
New Orleans Saints 6-7 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10-3
The first meeting between these two teams led to a Saints upset and a 3-interception game for Brady. New Orleans has caused problems for the Bucs since Brady’s arrival, but they don’t have the offense necessary to get an upset this week. Saints 21 - Bucs 28
Monday, December 20th, 7:15 PM
Minnesota Vikings 6-7 @ Chicago Bears 4-9
The Vikings are the definition of inconsistent. One minute they look like an elite team, but the next they lose to the Lions. The Bears are coming off one of their best offensive performances in years, but still lost last week in Green Bay. I could see the Bears getting the Vikings this week, but I just don’t trust Matt Nagy to do anything right.
Vikings 24 - Bears 20
Great write-up !
