WEEK 18 NFL PREDICTIONS

RECORD LAST WEEK 10-5

RECORD FOR THE SEASON 161-92-2

THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS WITH DEMAR HAMLIN, HIS FAMILY, AND THE BUFFALO

BILLS ORGANIZATION

Saturday, January 7th, 3:30 PM CT

Kansas City Chiefs 13-3 @ Las Vegas Raiders 6-10

The Chiefs are hoping to secure the number one seed in the AFC this week, and the Raiders

are just hoping to play spoiler. The Chiefs got a win over the Broncos last week while the

Raiders took a tough overtime loss at home to the 49ers. Jared Stidham looked good at

quarterback for the Raiders throwing three touchdowns. He did have two interceptions, but this week against the Chiefs, I expect him to make some plays. However, Kansas City will be too much and will end the regular season with a win.

Chiefs 35 - Raiders 24

Confidence Level:10

Saturday, January 7th, 7:15 PM CT

Tennessee Titans 7-9 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 8-8

The winner of this game will take the AFC South crown, and host a playoff game Wild Card

weekend. The Titans looked like they would run away with the division but have lost five straight games while Jacksonville is in the midst of a four-game win streak. The Titans are starting Josh Dobbs at QB who played well last week in their loss to the Cowboys. Jacksonville dominated the Texans last week on the road. Unless Derrick Henry can put up some kind of masterclass 250-yard performance, I'll roll with the Jaguars to win this crucial game.

Titans 21 - Jaguars 30

Confidence Level:8

Sunday, January 8th, Noon games

Cleveland Browns 7-9 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 8-8

Pittsburgh still has a chance to make the playoffs, but it starts with getting a win against the

Browns, then they’ll need a few teams to lose. Cleveland got a win on the road last week

against the Commanders and Deshaun Watson put up his best performance since his return.

The Browns would love to end their rivals’ chance at the playoffs, as well as give Mike Tomlin

his first losing season as a coach. But in the end, I think Pittsburgh takes care of business.

Browns 21 - Steelers 24

Confidence Level:4

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 8-8 @ Atlanta Falcons 6-10

The Bucs clinched the NFC South last week and this makes this game meaningless. I expect

the Bucs to sit out several of their key players, so with that being said, give me the Falcons to

get a win and take momentum into the offseason.

Bucs 16 - Falcons 21

Confidence Level:2

New England Patriots 8-8 @ Buffalo Bills 12-3

The Patriots need a win to make the playoffs while the Bills are trying to clinch the Number one seed in the AFC. The Bills had their game suspended Monday and are dealing with the mental and emotional toll from seeing their teammate fight for his life right in front of them. I’m sure it will be hard to focus but the Bills have tremendous leaders who will focus the team and lead them to get a victory this week.

Patriots 24 - Bills 31

Confidence Level:7

Minnesota Vikings 12-4 @ Chicago Bears 3-13

The Vikings got embarrassed last week in Green Bay, now they hope to regain the two seed in the NFC, but they’ll need a 49ers loss for that to happen. The Bears were absolutely atrocious last week versus the Lions and look to end their season on somewhat of a good final note, but I think the Vikings bounce back and get their 13th win.

Vikings 33 - Bears 25

Confidence Level: 6

Baltimore Ravens 10-6 @ Cincinnati Bengals 11-4

The Bengals had their game suspended Monday against the Bills, so the prep for this week’s

game may be impacted. The Ravens are coming off a loss to the Steelers and hope to have

Lamar Jackson back this week for this crucial matchup that will determine the winner of the AFC North. I believe the Bengals to be the better team and get the win this week.

Ravens 23 - Bengals 29

Confidence Level:5

Houston Texans 2-13-1 @ Indianapolis Colts 4-11-1

Both these teams have been pretty bad this year and as of right now, both are in the top five for April's draft. I think the Colts will get the win at home in what should be Jeff Saturday’s last game as interim head coach.

Texans 20 - Colts 21

Confidence Level:2

New York Jets 7-9 @ Dolphins 8-8

The Jets were eliminated last week while the Dolphins, who have lost five straight, are clinging

on to the little chance of the playoffs they have. Skylar Thompson most likely will be the starter with Tua dealing with a concussion, but I think Miami is able to get the win and sneak into the playoffs.

Jets 17 - Dolphins 20

Confidence Level 3

Carolina Panthers 6-10 @ New Orleans Saints 7-9

The Panthers had their playoff dreams ended last week against Tampa Bay while the Saints

have been showing improvement as they are on a three-game win streak. The Panthers have

several injuries in their secondary so I expect the Saints to take advantage of those and get the win.

Panthers 16 - Saints 23

Confidence Level: 5

Sunday, January 8th, 3PM Games

Arizona Cardinals 4-12 @ San Francisco 49ers 12-4

The 49ers clinched the second seed in the NFC with a win, and may even have a chance at the one seed with an Eagles loss. The Cardinals are losers of six straight games and I don’t expect to see much fight from them this week.

Cardinals 13 - 49ers 28

Confidence Level:10

Dallas Cowboys 12-4 @ Washington Commanders 7-8-1

The Commanders were eliminated last week while the Cowboys can win the NFC East with a

Eagles loss. The Cowboys should be well rested after playing last Thursday in their win over the Titans. Dallas should get the win this week.

Cowboys 27 - Commanders 17

Confidence Level:9

Los Angeles Chargers 10-6 @ Denver Broncos 4-12

The Chargers can secure the fifth seed in the AFC with a win in Denver Sunday. The Broncos

fought hard last week against the Chiefs and I expect them to continue that tough play this

week, but it will come in a losing effort.

Chargers 23 - Broncos 19

Confidence Level:8

Los Angeles Rams 5-11 @ Seattle Seahawks 8-8

The Seahawks need to win this game and hope for a Packers loss in order for them to make the playoffs. The Seahawks defense actually came to play last week. I expect the Rams to put up a fight, but the Seahawks keep their playoff hopes alive and get ready to watch the Sunday night game with their fingers crossed.

Rma 21 - Seahawks 26

Confidence Level:7

Sunday, January 8th , 7:20 PM CT

Detroit Lions 8-8 @ Green Bay Packers 8-8

This game could very well be a playoff game a week early if the Seahawks lose to the Rams.

The Lions need Seattle to lose and then they have a chance. The Packers just need to win and they’re in, after a miraculous four-game win streak, when all hope looked lost for Aaron Rodgers and company looked to be headed to an early vacation. I’m very excited to see this game and as great of a story as it would be for the Lions to make the playoffs, I won't bet against Aaron Rodgers at home this week.

Lions 27 - Packers 30

Confidence Level:5
