WEEK 4 NFL PREDICTIONS

Record Last week 9-7

RECORD FOR THE SEASON 27-20-1

Thursday, September 29 th , 7:15 PM CT

Miami Dolphins 3-0 @ Cincinnati Bengals 1-2

The Dolphins are one of two undefeated teams left and Tua is looking better than ever. This

week the Dolphins travel to play the Bengals. Cincy finally got their first win of the season

and now look to build on that with a home game on a short week. Tua is a little banged up

after the emotional win over Buffalo on Sunday and although the Dolphins defense allowed

only 19 points Buffalo was able to put up 497 total yards of offense. The Bengals have the

talent to do the same and I think they give the Dolphins their first loss.

Dolphins 20 Bengals 28

Sunday, October 2 nd , 8:30 AM CT

Minnesota Vikings 2-1 @ New Orleans Saints 1-2

We have a game in London this week with both the Vikings and Saints traveling across the

pond. Minnesota had to pull off a comeback last week to defeat the Lions while New

Orleans struggled once again offensively in a loss to the Panthers. I expect the Saints

defense to keep the Vikings in the low 20s, but I have trouble with believing in Jameis

Winston and the Saints offense.

Vikings 21 Saints 17

Sunday, October 2 nd , 12:00 PM CT games

Chicago Bears 2-1 @ New York Giants 2-1

The Bears have only attempted a grand total of 45 passes this season and Justin Fields has

struggled so far through three games yet the Bears are still 2-1 and travel to the Big Apple.

New York lost on Monday night to the Cowboys. I like the Giants defense and a healthy dose

of Saquon Barkley to be able to pull out a low scoring game.

Bears 13 Giants 17

Buffalo Bills 2-1 @ Baltimore Ravens 2-1

This could very well be the game of the week between two early MVP candidates. Josh Allen

leads the Bills into Baltimore to play Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. Buffalo suffered their

first loss of the season last week in Miami continuing a bad streak of losing close games.

Buffalo is 0-7 in one score games dating back to the 2020 season. So, Buffalo is either

blowing a team out or they’re not winning. I don’t see them blowing the Ravens out

especially with them being at home. Lamar looks as good as he’s ever been the Ravens pass

defense has been horrendous, but the Bills have a ton of injuries in the secondary. I expect a

big-time shootout but, in the end, give me Buffalo.

Bills 34 Ravens 31

Cleveland Browns 2-1 @ Atlanta Falcons 1-2

It’s been impressive how well Jacoby Brissett has managed the game for Cleveland so far.

They should be 3-0 if not for a wacky ending vs the Jets. Speaking of impressive has there

been a more fun offense to watch than the Falcons? They have a nice trio in Cordarrelle

Patterson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts. They got a nice win last week in Seattle and there’s

a chance Myles Garrett misses this game for the Browns after being in a car accident early in

the week. The question for Atlanta is can they stop the Browns run game? Nick Chubb looks

like the best running back in football right now and Cleveland leads the league in rushing

yards per game with 190.7. I think the duo of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt mixed with

timely passes from Brissett will lead to a win for the Browns.

Browns 28 Falcons 25

Los Angeles Chargers 1-2 @ Houston Texans 0-2-1

The Chargers lost to the Texans in Houston last year and after coming off a loss to the

Jaguars and facing numerous injuries the stock in LA is dropping. I have the Chargers

winning but it’ll be closer than it should be.

Chargers 27 Texans 23

Washington Commanders 1-2 @ Dallas Cowboys 2-1

The Commanders have completely fallen off after week one and that showed in the loss to

the Eagles last week. Dallas has won two in a row after losing Dak Prescott in week one.

Cooper Rush has played well, and the defense looks elite. I expect Wentz to see a lot of

Micah Parsons and Demarcus Lawrence leading the Cowboys to their third straight win.

Commanders 17 Cowboys 24

Jacksonville Jaguars 2-1 @ Philadelphia Eagles 3-0

The Jacksonville Jaguars are in first place in the AFC South and just absolutely buried the

Chargers last week in LA. Now they face what looks to be the most complete team in

football the Philadelphia Eagles. Philly looks amazing on both sides of the ball and Jalen

Hurts seems to have made tremendous strides as a passer. This will be a fun game, but I

have the Eagles moving to 4-0.

Jaguars 23 Eagles 26

New York Jets 1-2 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 1-2

It sounds as though Zach Wilson will be back this week for the Jets after missing the first

month with a knee sprain. The Jets offense has showed a lot of potential with all their young

weapons and now it will be up to Wilson the key piece to the Jets rebuild to show he is the

franchise QB they need him to be. The Steelers offense has been atrocious and even though

they’re coming off 10 days of rest that does nothing for me. Having great players like

Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool, and George Pickens with Najee Harris you would think

they could do something, but this offense is is setting football back years. The Jets defense

has been surprisingly good. I’m rolling with the Jets in a road upset.

Jets 23 Steelers 20

Seattle Seahawks 1-2 @ Detroit Lions 1-2

The Seahawks won their Super Bowl week one vs the Broncos and Russell Wilson and since

then they have been more of what I expected them to be. The Lions had a 10-point lead

over the Vikings last week but blew it and now sit at 1-2. It sounds as though they’ll be

without D’Andre Swift, but the Lions offense is still too explosive, and I have them getting

the win this week.

Seahawks 17 Lions 30

Tennessee Titans 1-2 @ Indianapolis Colts 1-1-1-

Both these teams got a season saving wins last week as the Titans defeated the Raiders and

the Colts upset the Chiefs. The Titans defense is keeping them in games but they have

struggled offensively. The Colts offense has been a trainwreck even last week they didn’t

have a good week, but their defense was able to keep the game close and allow the offense

to put together a game winning drive. The Colts offensive line has a lot to fix, and they need

to do it quickly as Jeffrey Simmons has been great this season. I’m rolling with Indy at home

but not with much confidence.

Titans 21 Colts 24

Sunday, October 2 nd , 3:05 PM CT

Arizona Cardinals 1-2 @ Carolina Panthers 1-2

The Cardinals must be one of the worst first half teams in football, but the Panthers haven’t

been good in either half. I can see Kyler Murray taking this game over like how he did

against the Raiders a few weeks ago.

Cardinals 24 Panthers 20

Sunday, October 2 nd , 3:25 PM CT games

Denver Broncos 2-1 @ Las Vegas Raiders 0-3

This is a massive game for the Raiders as a loss this week would pretty much end any little

chance, they have of making the playoffs. The Broncos pulled out a defensive slugfest last

week versus the 49ers and now they play a better offense this week it’ll be vital for Russell

Wilson and the Broncos offense to finally get going and be able to put up points which they

should be able to do against a mediocre Raiders defense. I have the Broncos elite defense

leading the way and the Broncos offense finally finding some success as they move to 3-1.

Broncos 26 Raiders 21

New England Patriots 1-2 @ Green Bay Packers 2-1

The Patriots lost Mac Jones to an ankle sprain, and he’ll be out for some time. That pretty

much sums this game up as the elite Green Bay defense should have no trouble against

whoever New England starts between Brian Hoyer or Bailey Zappe give me Green Bay.

Patriots 10 Packers 28

Sunday, October 2 nd , 7:20 PM CT

Kansas City Chiefs 2-1 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2-1

A rematch of Super Bowl 54 the Chiefs get to return to Tampa and try to get some type of

revenge from that embarrassing loss. Both teams suffered their first loss last week. The Bucs

offense has not looked good at all even week one at full health they struggled. Mike Evans

will be back this week so hopefully that will help, and the status of Chris Godwin and Julio

Jones are unknown, but anything will help a Bucs offense that has barely been able to score

the past few weeks. The Bucs defense has been fantastic but don’t sleep on how good the

Chiefs have been defensively to start the season. I think the Chiefs pass rush against a really

beat up Bucs offensive line decides this game.

Chiefs 24 Bucs 21

Monday, October 3 rd 7:15 PM CT

Los Angeles Rams 2-1 @ San Francisco 49ers 1-2

Two great rivals the Rams and 49ers meet for the first time since the NFC Championship

game in January. The Rams have been better on defense the past two weeks but have still

struggled on offense. The Niners look to bounce back after only mustering up 10 points in

their loss to the Broncos last Sunday. I think the Rams pull out the win over the Niners on

Monday night and get their third straight win.

Rams 28 49ers 20
