RECORD LAST WEEK:8-8
RECORD FOR THE SEASON 34-30
Thursday, October 3rd, 7:15 PM CT
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3-1 @ Atlanta Falcons 2-2
Former Bucs Head Coach Raheem Morris will look to defeat his former team as the Falcons host the Bucs on Thursday night. The Falcons offense has been up and down through the first four games but they have played tough. Tampa Bay has played really well throughout the season outside of a bump in the road in a 26-7 home loss to the Broncos. The Bucs offense has relied heavily on quarterback Baker Mayfield and the pass game but the Falcons secondary, although not perfect, has been able to hold its own against some pretty good offenses the last three weeks. I have the Falcons winning at home behind a big day from Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier.

New York Jets 2-2 @ Minnesota Vikings 4-0
The Vikings are off to a surprising 4-0 start and now travel to London to face the Jets who are coming off a disappointing loss to the Broncos last week. Sam Darnold is facing the team that drafted him. Darnold is playing the best football of his career but now he faces his toughest challenge yet in this Jets defense. The Vikings defense has made every quarterback they’ve played look subpar but I think this week Aaron Rodgers figures out the defense enough and Garrett Wilson finally has his breakout game.

Buffalo Bills 3-1 @ Houston Texans 3-1
In what could arguably be the best quarterback duel of the weekend, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills face C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans. Another prominent note going into this game is Stefon Diggs will be facing his former team after an unceremonious exit from Buffalo. Buffalo will be looking to bounce back from their 35-10 loss to the Ravens last Sunday night. The Texans have struggled to run the ball this season, and while Houston has the offensive firepower to make up for that, I have a pretty good feeling we’re going to get a Josh Allen masterclass.

Cleveland Browns 1-3 @ Washington Commanders 3-1
The Browns offense has been nothing but dysfunctional to start the season and now they go on the road to play a team in the Commanders who in their last two games is averaging 40 PPG . Cleveland has the defense capable of slowing down the Commanders offense, but even against a bad Commanders defense, the Browns offensively, have shown me nothing for me to believe in them.

Confidence Level:7
Indianapolis Colts 2-2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 0-4
Indy will be potentially without quarterback Anthony Richardosn and star running back Jonathon Taylor. Now while Joe Flacco is more than capable of running the offense for the Colts, it'll be their defense that ultimately decides the game. Indy has struggled in Jacksonville and with this being desperate times for Doug Pederson and the winless Jags, they’ll play a tough game but I believe the Colts are the better coached team and will win this game on the road.

Miami Dolphins 1-3 @ New England Patriots 1-3
In the game nobody will have on the Dolphins loses of three straight face the Patriots losers of three straight. Miami ‘s offense hasn’t been able to get anything going offensively without Tua and while you don’t need many points to beat New England, I believe the Patriots being the more physical team get the win at home this week.

Carolina Panthers 1-3 @ Chicago Bears 2-2
Caleb Williams leads the Bears against the Panthers in a game where Carolina gets to see up close and personal the players they lost out on in their draft trade with the Bears in 2023, that led to the Bears being able to acquire Williams with the first pick in the 2024 Draft. The Bears defense has been elite and with Williams finding his groove, the Bears should get their second straight win.

Baltimore Ravens 2-2 @ Cincinnati Bengals 1-3
This has the potential to be another day for Ravens running back Derrick Henry as he gets to face the 25th ranked Bengaks run defense. This game is extremely important for Cincy as they cannot fall to 1-4. However, Baltimore seems to be hitting their stride and will get the win this week.

Arizona Cardinals 1-3 @ San Francisco 49ers 2-2
Brock Purdy has looked better than ever even with stars like Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle dealing with injuries and Brandon Aiyuk struggling to get going, Purdy has still been fantastic especially, as a deep ball passer. Arizona has struggled offensively the last two weeks and I don’t see that changing this weekend.

Las Vegas Raiders 2-2 @ Denver Broncos 2-2
The Broncos have two straight wins over the Bucs and the Jets due to their elite defense. Las Vegas is dealing with drama as Davante Adams has asked for a trade. I don’t know which version of the Broncos shows up but I’ll bet on them getting the win.

New York Giants 1-3 @ Seattle Seahawks 3-1
The Giants could be without Malik Nabers and if that’s the case all hope is lost.. Seattle will look to bounce back after suffering their first loss last Monday. Give me the Seahawks to bounce back at home.

Green Bay Packers 2-2 @ Los Angeles Rams 1-3
Jordan Love had an up and down game last week against the Vikings in his first game back from injury. Now he gets to face a bad Rams defense. Matthew Stafford and the Rams should be able to keep up for awhile, but the Rams don’t have the weapons to keep up with Green Bay.
Packers 30 Rams 20

Dallas Cowboys 2-2 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 3-1
The Cowboys can’t stop the run at all, don't be fooled by that anomaly against the Giants last week. It won’t help that they will be without star edge rusher Micah Parsons who is dealing with a sprained ankle. Dak and the offense will struggle against a Steelers defense who will look to bounce back after a poor showing last week against the Colts and get back in the win column.

New Orleans Saints 2-2 @ Kansas City Chiefs 4-0
Kansas City hasn’t hit their stride offensively yet, but luckily for them the defense is still up to their elite ways. They should be able to slow down the New Orleans run game and Patrick Mahomes will be able to make enough plays to win the game. Mahomes is still the best player in the world despite his struggles and the Chiefs will be undefeated going into their bye week.
