RECORD LAST WEEK:6-8
RECORD FOR THE SEASON:54-39-1
Thursday, October 20th, 7:15 PM CT
New Orleans Saints 2-4 @ Arizona Cardinals 2-4
The Saints were a popular pick for the playoffs this year, but they’ve had quarterback issues and the defense hasn’t been as good as projected. The Cardinals have taken a massive step back from their successful 2021. The Cardinals will be without Hollywood Brown for the foreseeable future, but they do get All-Pro wideout Deandre Hopkins back. The Cardinals are the home team and I trust Hopkins returns to inject some energy into this Cardinals offense.
Saints 20 Cardinals 24

Cleveland Browns 2-4 @ Baltimore Ravens 3-3
Both these teams should have better records but blown leads have cost both teams multiple wins. The Browns run game has carried them, but their defense has had a rough year so far. The Ravens blew another double-digit lead last week against the Giants and now sit at 3-3. I think Lamar and the Ravens get back on track this week.
Browns 17 Ravens 23
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3-3 @ Carolina Panthers 1-5
The Bucs have struggled offensively and no more so than last week when they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tampa Bay should however have no problem against a Panthers team that has been abysmal.
Bucs 24 Panthers 9
Indianapolis Colts 3-2-1 @ Tennessee Titans 3-2
The Colts offense had their best game of the season [putting up 34 points in a win over the Jaguars. Now they face the Titans for first place in the AFC South. The Titans are coming off a bye after winning three straight games. These two teams have played already this year and the Titans pulled out a 24-17 win in Indy. I think the Titans get their fourth straight win this week.
Colts 23 Titans 27
Atlanta Falcons 3-3 @ Cincinnati Bengals 3-3
The Falcons pulled an upset over the 49ers last week and now travel to Cincy who has won three of their last four games. The Falcons have been one of the more fun teams to watch and they have fought hard in every game. However, the Bengals offense has gotten it going and I think they handle the Falcons at home this week.
Falcons 23 Bengals 34
New York Giants 5-1 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 2-4
The Giants are THE biggest surprise in the NFL sitting at 5-1 they have a chance to move to 6-1 but they must go through a Jaguars team who has been better than their record shows. The Jags are the favorite, but I don’t think they should be as the Giants and their strong run game and great defensive play should get the win.
Giants 21 Jaguars 19
Detroit Lions 1-4 @ Dallas Cowboys 4-2
The Lions offense was amazing until being shut out by the Patriots two weeks ago before their bye week. The Cowboys are coming off a hard-fought loss to the Eagles last week but could get Dak Prescott back this week. I think Dallas with or without Dak should get the win this week.
Lions 20 Cowboys 27
Green Bay Packers 3-3 @ Washington Commanders 2-4
The Packers have lost back-to-back games and now travel to play the Commanders. Washington lost Carson Wentz for several weeks so I would hope Green Bay can get a win
Packers 20 Commanders 13
Sunday, October 23rd, 3 PM CT games
New York Jets 4-2 @ Denver Broncos 2-4
The Jets have won three straight now and travel to Denver to face a Broncos team that is the laughingstock of the league right now The Jets I feel should be the favorite as their defense has been fantastic this game should be low scoring and while the Broncos defense has done more than enough for the Broncos to win the offense has yet to show me anything to believe in them.
Jets 17 Broncos 13
Houston Texans 1-3-1 @ Las Vegas Raiders 1-4
The Texans got their first of the season before going into a bye week last week now they travel to Vegas who is also coming off a bye and looks to try to turn their season around. The Texans have a young star in rookie running back Dameon Pierce, but the rest of the offense doesn’t bring much to the table. The Raiders offense has been great, but their defense has struggled. I think Maxx Crosby and company will have their best defensive performance this season
Texans 14 Raiders 27
Kansas City Chiefs 4-2 @ San Francisco 49ers 3-3
In a rematch of Super Bowl 54, the Chiefs head to San Francisco. Kansas City suffered a home loss to the Bills last week while the Niners went on the road and got upset by the Falcons. The 49ers defense vs the Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense will be a great matchup to watch, and I expect Mahomes and KC to get back in the win column
Chiefs 30 49ers 24
Seattle Seahawks 3-3 @ Los Angeles Chargers 4-2
The Seahawks have been fun, and they have exceeded expectations already. The Chargers escaped on Monday night in an Overtime win over the Broncos. While Seattle and Geno Smith should be able to get theirs versus the Chargers defense I for sure expect Herbert and the Chargers to go crazy against the poor Seahawks defense.
Seahawks 27 Chargers 30
Sunday, October 23rd, 7:20 PM CT
Pittsburgh Steelers 2-4 @ Miami Dolphins 3-3
Tua said he expects to be back this week and the Dolphins will need him as they have lost three straight games. Pittsburgh got a massive win over the Bucs last week and hopes to get back into the playoff mix with a win this week. I expect a close game but just too much firepower from Miami.
Steelers 17 Dolphins 20
Monday, October 24th, 7:15 PM CT
Chicago Bears 2-4 @ New England Patriots 3-3
The Bears have been bad offensively and now they travel to Foxboro to play a suddenly hot Patriots team with a great defense. The Patriots should win their third straight with a dominant performance against the Bears
Bears 10 Patriots 27
