Record last week 9-4
Record for the season 68-39

Green Bay Packers 6-1 @ Arizona Cardinals 7-0
How often do we get Thursday night games with this much excitement? Although this game has lost some of its luster as Green Bay will be without their top two wide receivers, Davante Adams, and Allen Lazard, while Arizona just lost pass rusher JJ Watt for the season due to a shoulder injury. A lot of people are already counting out Green Bay, but Aaron Rodgers won’t go down without a fight. MVP frontrunner Kyler Murray continues to prove me right, as I called him an MVP sleeper before the season and now, he has taken that leap to becoming an elite quarterback. I am expecting a shootout between two of the NFL’s best offenses, but the Cardinals will stay undefeated moving to 8-0.
Packers 27 - Cardinals 31

Carolina Panthers 3-4 @ Atlanta Falcons 3-3
These two NFC South rivals have been heading in opposite directions. The Panthers are losers of four straight, and things reached the boiling point as they benched quarterback Sam Darnold last week, in a 25-3 lost to the Giants. Meanwhile, the Falcons are winners of two straight and rookie tight end Kyle Pitts has been coming on strong, as he has 16 catches for 282 yards and a touchdown in his last two games. I believe in the Falcons to improve their winning streak to three.
Panthers 21 - Falcons 26
Los Angeles Rams 6-1 @ Houston Texans 1-6
The Rams haven’t earned many style points through their wins this season, but that could be a good thing, as they haven’t peaked yet. They were in a tough battle last Sunday with the winless Lions but pulled out a 28-18 victory. Now they play another bottom tier team as they travel to Houston to play the Texans. There isn’t much chance of an upset here as Houston is devoid of talent. The Rams should move to 7-1 with relative ease.
Rams 35 - Texans 13
Pittsburgh Steelers 3-3 @ Cleveland Browns 4-3
An NFC North battle takes place this Sunday in Cleveland, as the Steelers play the Browns. Pittsburgh will be looking to avenge their Wild Card loss to the Browns last January, while the Browns hope to continue to build momentum from last Thursday’s win over the Broncos. The Browns will be getting some of their stars back, as running back Nick Chubb and quarterback Baker Mayfield are both expected to play this week. I believe with their offense finally together for the most part, will get the win this week over the Steelers.
Steelers 19 - Browns 24
San Francisco 49ers 2-4 @ Chicago Bears 3-4
These two teams have been frustrating and have had inconsistent quarterback play. The 49ers have the talent and coaching to fix it, while the Bears are lacking coaching and support for rookie quarterback Justin Fields. I expect Nick Bosa and company to have a field day against this poor Bears offense.
49ers 17 - Bears 13
Cincinnati Bengals 5-2 @ New York Jets 1-5
The Bengals have been a pleasant surprise this season as they sit atop the AFC North after bludgeoning the Ravens last week, 41-17. I have had a fun time laughing at the people who told me I was wrong about Ja’marr Chase, as the rookie wide receiver has been sensational this season, setting the record for most receiving yards through a player’s first seven games with 754. The Jets lost their first-round pick Zach Wilson to a PCL injury, and he will be out 2-4 weeks. I expect the Bengals to handle this one easily.
Bengals 30 - Jets 10
Miami Dolphins 1-6 @ Buffalo Bills 4-2
The last time these two teams played, it was a 35-0 victory for the Bills. Buffalo is coming off a bye and will look to get back on track after a loss to the Titans. The Dolphins have been one of the league’s biggest disappointments, losing six in a row. I don’t expect a shutout this time, but the Dolphins stand little chance against the Bills.
Dolphins 14 - Bills 34
Philadelphia Eagles 2-5 @ Detroit Lions 1-7
The Eagles travel to Detroit and this game has massive upset appeal. The Eagles have struggled on offense all season and it was no different last week versus the Raiders. The Lions have become the team everyone is rooting for. Although, they are winless they have a lot of young talent, and they play hard for first year head coach, Dan Campbell. The Eagles defense has also been up and down, and I am going to go with the upset this week, as the Lions will get their first win of the season.
Eagles 24 - Lions 26
Tennessee Titans 5-2 @ Indianapolis Colts 3-4
The Titans and Colts have gotten hot the past few weeks. The Titans have been on a three-game win streak, and in the last two weeks have defeated the Bills and Chiefs. The Colts blew a lead against the Ravens, otherwise, they would be on a three-game win streak of their own. If the Colts want any chance of winning the AFC South, they will have to win this week. The Titans won the first matchup between these two teams 25-16 and will look to take a strangle hold of the division with a win. I believe this game will be close and can see the Colts winning this game, but Tennessee will win this game, as Derrick Henry will continue to raise his name in MVP discussions.
Titans 24 - Colts 20
Sunday, October 31st 4:05 PM ET
Jacksonville Jaguars 1-5 @ Seattle Seahawks 2-5
The Jaguars picked up their first win of the season a few weeks ago in London and are now coming off a bye. The Seahawks have been falling apart without Russell Wilson. The Seahawks know they need this game, if they wish to keep any playoff hopes alive and I believe they will get the win.
Jaguars 19 - Seahawks 20
New England Patriots 3-4 @ Los Angeles Chargers 4-2
The Patriots travel all the way to the west coast to play the Chargers, who are coming off a bye. New England defeated the Jets last week 54-13. The Chargers last time out, they were defeated by the Ravens 34-6. I expect the Chargers to come off the bye ready to bounce back from their loss, ready to get back in the win column.
Patriots 20 - Chargers 27
Sunday, October 31st 4:25 PM ET
Washington Football Team 2-5 @ Denver Broncos 3-4
These two teams have disappointed me multiple times this season, as the Broncos still haven’t fixed their offensive woes, while the Football Team has surprisingly struggled on defense. The Broncos had a mini bye after losing last week to the Browns on Thursday night. The Broncos do get a boost to the offense as dynamic second year wide receiver Jerry Jeudy should be making his return; I know I’m going to regret this, but I expect the Broncos to get the win this week at home.
Football Team 20 - Broncos 23
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 6-1 @ New Orleans Saints 4-2
The Bucs offense versus the Saints defense will be extremely fun to watch. However, this game will come down to whether the Saints offense is able to score enough points to defeat Tom Brady and the Bucs. The Saints defeated the Bucs twice last year in the regular season, but the Bucs defeated the Saints in the playoffs. Jameis will want revenge on his former team, and I expect him to play one of his best games of the season, but Brady and the Bucs will do just enough to defeat the Saints.
Bucs 28 - Saints 24
Sunday, October 31st 8:20 PM ET
Dallas Cowboys 5-1 @ Minnesota Vikings 3-3
Both teams had a bye last week, now they each look to improve their win streaks. Dallas played a wild overtime game defeating the Patriots 35-29 in the last time we saw them, and the Vikings defeated the Panthers 34-28 also in overtime. Dak Prescott has been dealing with a calf injury. Kirk Cousins has been good this season and hasn’t been the reason for the Vikings inconsistency. The Cowboys offense has been virtually unstoppable this season, but the Vikings offense has the fire power to match it. They just must not turn the ball over, as Dallas has been incredible with taking the ball away, especially cornerback Trevno Diggs, who leads the NFL with 7 interceptions. This game will be explosive but, in the end, I have Dallas improving to 6-1.
Cowboys 34 - Vikings 30
Monday, November 1st 8:15 PM
New York Giants 2-5 @ Kansas City Chiefs 3-4
The Chiefs had their worst regular season loss in the Patrick Mahomes era last week against the Titans, as they suffered a 27-3 loss. The Giants picked up their second win of the season defeating the Panthers 25-3. The Chiefs need a get right game, and this seems like the perfect week to build confidence. I expect Kansas City to come out fired up and ready to show they still have the potential. They just need to fix some of their errors and be more consistent.
Giants 20 - Chiefs 37
