WEEK 8 NFL PREDICTIONS

RECORD LAT WEEK 10-4

RECORD FOR THE SEASON 64-43-1

Thursday, October 27th, 7:15 PM CT

Baltimore Ravens 4-3 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3-4

A Thursday night game, when the schedule was first released, looked like a big time game, but with these two teams having big time struggles so far this season, we could be in for another snoozefest on Thursday night. The Bucs defense is beat up and if the Panthers had success running on the Bucs I suspect the Ravens to have similar success,

Ravens 20 - Bucs 17

Sunday, October 30th, 8:30 AM

Denver Broncos 2-5 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 2-5

A London game between the Broncos and Jaguars is just what the doctor ordered for two of the NFL’s more boring teams. The Broncos are dead last in points per game averaging 14.3, but the Jaguars defense could be a game where, if Russell Wilson can play, the Broncos offense may have some success. The Broncos defense is arguably the best in the league, but they’ve been let down by several bad offensive games. The Jags have looked better than the Broncos, but I just have a gut feeling, Denver gets the win.

Broncos 17- Jaguars 14

Sunday, October 30th, Noon Games

Chicago Bears 3-4 @ Dallas Cowboys 5-2

The Cowboys got Dak back last week as they defeated the Lions, now they look to add another NFC North squad to their list of wins. The Bears defeated the Patriots on Monday night, but they’re still not an impressive team, and I expect the Cowboys to handle this one easily.

Bears 14 - Cowboys 27

Arizona Cardinals 3-4 @ Minnesota Vikings 5-1

The Cardinals getting Deandre Hopkins back helped the offense a little bit, as it opened up the run game in a win over the Saints. Now, they face a Vikings team, who is sitting comfortably atop the NFC North. This game could very well be a shootout, but the Vikings move to 6-1 as I don’t have much faith in Arizona.

Cardinals 26 - Vikings 29

Miami Dolphins 4-3 @ Detroit Lions 1-5

The Dolphins got their quarterback Tua Tagovailoa back and defeated the Steelers on Sunday night. The Lions lost their fourth straight game as their once hot offense has chilled out. The Dolphins have absolute burners at wide receiver, so on the turf Detroit, they should have a field day against this bad Lions defense.

Dolphins 34 - Lions 27

Carolina Panthers 2-5 @ Atlanta Falcons 3-4

The Falcons are one of the more fun teams to watch in the NFL, and they somehow sit tied for first place in the NFC South. The Panthers got a big upset win over the Bucs last week, now, they look to carry that momentum into another NFC South rivalry. In the end though I think the Falcons at home handle business.

Panthers 17 - Falcons 24

New England Patriots 3-4 @ New York Jets 5-2

The Patriots had a little bit of quarterback controversy during their Monday night loss to the

Bears, as both Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe played. Mac seems to be the starter this week

traveling to New York. The Jets somehow, sit at 5-2 and their defense has been fantastic, and

although I could see a Patriots win, this Jets team has all the confidence in the world and a

home win is my prediction.

Patriots 16 - Jets 19

Las Vegas Raiders 2-4 @ New Orleans Saints 2-5

The Raiders got their second win of the season last week against the Texans, and now, a win

against a struggling New Orleans team. The Saints lost to the Cardinals last week, as this team has not lived up to their preseason billing. I think the Raiders move to 3-4 with a win this week.

Raiders 28 - Saints 23

Pittsburgh Stelers 2-5 @ Philadelphia Eagles 6-0

The Steelers lost to the Dolphins last week and now, have to face the NFL’s only undefeated

team. Philly just added Robert Quinn, even though it’ll be interesting to see how much he plays this week. I expect the Eagles to move to 7-0.

Steelers 13 - Eagles 24

Sunday, October 30th, 3PM Games

Tennessee Titans 4-2 @ Houston Texans 1-4-1

The Titans have won four straight games and now face a Texans team who plays tough, but

can’t seem to win the close games just yet. Derrick Henry has been a bully to the Texans

throughout his career and this week should be no different.

Titans 27 Texans 16

San Francisco 49ers 3-4 @ Los Angeles Rams 3-3

These two teams played earlier in the season and the 49ers came out with the victory. Both

teams could use this win as they both haven’t been able to repeat their success from last

season. The 49ers have had great success against the Rams, but I have the Rams get the wi

this week.

49ers 20- Rams 23

Washington Commanders 3-4 @ Indianapolis Colts 3-3-1

This was supposed to be the Carson Wentz revenge game but he’s out with an injury, and the Colts benched Matt Ryan for Sam Ehlinger. The Commanders defense has been much better in recent weeks and an upset over the Packers last week gives them great momentum but I have the Colts winning Sam’s debut.

Commanders 19 - Colts 20

New York Giants 6-1 @ Seattle Seahawks 4-3

Somehow this is the only game in week 8 with two winning records. The Giants and Seahawks face off. The Giants have been extremely good in close games, but this week, I expect the Seahawks to end the Giants win streak and hand them their second loss.

Giants 24 - Seahawks 28

Sunday, October 30th, 7:20 PM CT

Green Bay Packers 3-4 @ Buffalo Bills 5-1

The Packers have been one of the more disappointing teams this season, and now travel to

play the Bills. I’m going to get right to it. A Bills team coming off a bye week should have no

trouble defeating the Packers.

Packers 20 - Bills 34

Monday, October 31st, 7:15 PM CT

Cincinnati Bengals 4-3 @ Cleveland Browns 2-5

The Bengals have gotten it together while the Browns’ nice start has led to four straight losses. I see the Bengals offense being too much for this mediocre Browns defense and Cincy picking up their third consecutive win.

Bengals 31 - Browns 17
