WEEK 8 NFL PREDICTIONS

Record Last Week: 11-4

Record For The Season: 64-43

Thursday, October 24th, 7:15PM CT

Minnesota Vikings 5-1 @ Los Angeles Rams 2-4

The Vikings suffered their first loss last Sunday while the Rams got a much-needed win over the Raiders. The Rams may have Cooper Kupp back for this game and I do believe the Rams can have success against the Vikings defense, but I expect Minnesota to get back on track this week and handle business in LA.

Vikings 28 Rams 20

X-Factor: Sam Darnold

Confidence Level:8

Best Bet:Vikings -2.5

Sunday, October 27th, Noon CT Games

Arizona Cardinals 3-4 @ Miami Dolphins 2-4

Tua Tagovailoa should be back this week for the Dolphins which is bad news for a subpar

Cardinals secondary. The Cardinals got a win over the Chargers at home Monday night but with Tua back to jumpstart this offense, it should be a win for the Dolphins.

Cardinals 17 Dolphins 29

X-Factor:Tua Tagovailoa

Confidence Level:8

Best Bet: Tyreek Hill Anytime Touchdown

Indianapolis Colts 4-3 @ Houston Texans 5-2

I think everyone is shocked that this game is for first place in the AFC South. The Colts after

back-to-back wins, and the Texans putting up a pretty abysmal display offensively in the loss

against the Packers last week, now set up a pretty big match-up. Anthony Richardson hasn’t

shown any growth as a passer and they don’t save the defense to replicate the success

Green Bay had last week. Give me the Texans to right the ship and get the win at home.

Colts 21 Texans 27

X-Factor: Can Anthony Richardosn complete over 60% of his passes?

Confidence Level:8.5

Best Bet: Joe Mixon Over 76.5 Rushing Yards

Philadelphia Eagles 4-2 @ Cincinnati Bengals 3-4

Both these teams have gotten their act together since the beginning of the season. Both

defenses are mediocre so expect a fun high-scoring game. The Bengals have struggled to stop the run all year but I expect Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense to have a big day against this Philly secondary and get to 500 on the season.

Eagles 26 Bengals 31

X-Factor: Ja’marr Chase

Confidence Level:5

Best Bet:Over 48 Total Points

Atlanta Falcons 4-3 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-3

The Bucs will be without both of their star wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, add that to the fact the Bucs defense just isn’t good right now, and the last time they played the Falcons just a few weeks ago Kirk Cousins threw for 500 yards. The Falcons are the healthier team and in my opinion the better team and they should get the win this week for sole possession of first place in the NFC South.

Falcons 28 Bucs 16

X-Factor: Drake London

Confidence Level:9

Best Bet:Kirk Cousins over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

New York Jets 2-5 @ New England Patriots 1-6

The Jets need a win this week to keep any hope of making a playoff push alive. The Patriots lost to the Jaguars last week and it seems as though their defense has completely fallen off. I expect a big week from the Jets that leads to a much-needed win.

Jets 27 Patriots 17

X-Factor:Jets Run Defense

Confidence Level:7

Best Bet: Over Breece Hall Rushing+Receiving Yards 103.5

Green Bay Packers 5-2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 2-5

The Packers got a big-time win last week over the Texans now they face a much worse AFC

South team in the Jaguars. The Jags defense can’t stop anyone’s pass attack right now and

that’s not good news as the Packers offense can light anyone up. Expect a big game from

Jordan Love leading to a Packers win.

Packers 30 Jags 22

X-Factor: Jordan Love Intrusive Thoughts

Confidence Level:9

Best Bet: Jordan Love over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns

Baltimore Ravens 5-2 @ Cleveland Browns 1-6

The Browns will be starting quarterback Jameis Winston this Sunday after Deshaun Watson tore his achilles last Sunday ending his season. That is the only noteworthy thing from the Browns expect the Ravens to get the win and extend their win streak to six.

Ravens 31 Browns 16

X-Factor: Does It Matter?

Confidence Level:10

Best Bet: Derrick Henry Anytime Touchdown

Tennessee Titans 1-5 @ Detroit Lions 5-1

A similar theme as the last game, nothing much to see here unless you’re a fan of either team you probably won’t be tuned into this game. The Lions got a big win over the Vikings last week expect them to carry that momentum into this week.

Titans 14 Lions 34

X-Factor: How many beers will be consumed to get through all four quarters at the

game?

Confidence Level:10

Best Bet: Lions -11

Sunday, October 27th, 3PM CT Games

Buffalo Bills 5-2 @ Seattle Seahawks 4-3

I expect this game to be a fun offensive showcase as both defenses have flaws, and both

offenses can put up points on anyone. Josh Allen and Amari Cooper have another week of

chemistry under their belt and I expect Buffalo to get the win in Seattle.

Bills 34 Seahawks 31

X-Factor: Bills Pass Protection

Confidence Level:6

Bets Bet: Josh Allen Over 234.5 Passing Yards

New Orleans Saints 2-5 @ Los Angeles Chargers 3-3

The Saints don’t look anything like the team we saw the first two weeks of the season. Some of that is injuries but a lot of it is defensive effort. If they don’t show more effort this week the

Chargers will run all over them. Give me the Chargers to get the win at home.

Saints 13 Chargers 27

X-Factor: J.K. Dobbins

Confidence Level:10

Best Bet: J.K. Dobbins Anytime Touchdown

Chicago Bears 4-2 @ Washington Commanders 5-2

The hype for this game has calmed down a bit after Jayden Daniels suffered a rib injury last

week that may keep him out of the highly anticipated game against fellow rookie quarterback Caleb Williams and the Bears. I was confident in the Bears even if Washington had Daniels, so I expect them to win if he doesn’t play.

Bears 24 Commanders 17

X-Factor: Caleb Williams

Confidence Level: Without Daniels:9 with Daniels:5

Best Bet: D’Andre Swift over 17.5 Receiving Yards

Kansas City Chiefs 6-0 @ Las Vegas Raiders 2-5

The Raiders are the last team to defeat the Chiefs, last year on Christmas in Kansas

City. The Raiders were playing a lot better than they are now and with all the trash talk the

Raiders did this summer, expect the Chiefs to take this personally. Kansas City remains

unbeaten.

Chiefs 24 Raiders 13

X-Factor: Patrick Mahomes

Confidence Level:9

Best Bet: Kareem Hunt Anytime Touchdown

Carolina Panthers 1-6 @ Denver Broncos 4-3

Bryce Young is getting the start for the Panthers after being benched since week 3 and it

couldn't come against a better defense. The Broncos have wreaked havoc on every offense

they’ve played and it should be no different this week against Carolina.

Panthers 10 Broncos 21

X-Factor: Bo Nix

Confidence Level:10

Best bet: Bryce Young Over 0.5 Interceptions

Sunday, October 27th, 7:20 PM CT

Dallas Cowboys 3-3 @ San Francisco 49ers 3-4

Another installment in this classic rivalry takes place Sunday night as the Cowboys face the

49ers. Dallas is coming off a bye and should be well rested while the Niners have injuries

everywhere. The Niners have been the Cowboys' Achilles heel in recent years. It feels wrong to do this, but I’ll take the Cowboys to get the win on the road.

Cowboys 23 49ers 20

X-Factor: Dak Prescott

Confidence Level:0

Best Bet: Under 47

Monday, October 28th, 7:15 PM CT

New York Giants 2-5 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 5-2

The Giants defense, for the most part, has played well this season, and it will have to find a way to keep the offense in this game against the Steelers. New York lost last week to the Eagles led by Saquon Barkley running for 176 yards on this Giants defense. The Steelers got a win in Russell Wilson’s debut and this week should make Russ 2-0 as a starter.

Giants 14 Steelers 20

X-Factor: Me trying to stay up for all 4 quarters

Confidence Level:5

Best Bet: Under 40
