Record last week: 8-7
Record for the season 76-46

New York Jets 2-5 @ Indianapolis Colts 3-5
The New York Jets are coming off a huge upset win of the Bengals last week, now on a short week they travel to Indianapolis to play the Colts. Quarterback Mike White threw for over 400 yards and 3 touchdowns last week in the 34-31 win. The Colts lost in overtime to the Titans ironically, 34-31. Carson Wentz threw 2 costly interceptions and will look to bounce back this week. A matchup to watch is the Jets defensive line versus the Colts offensive line. The Colts have allowed 2 sacks in the last 2 games while the Jets defense has 17 sacks on the season. The Jets will need to find a way to slow down star running back, Jonathon Taylor. The Colts defense slowed Derrick Henry last week, but their pass defense was torched by AJ Brown. I believe Mike White’s Cinderella story will come to a screeching halt in Indy on Thursday.
Jets 14 - Colts 23

Atlanta Falcons 3-4 @ New Orleans Saints 5-2
Atlanta lost to the Panthers last week while the Saints got a massive win over the Buccaneers. Matt Ryan had his worst game of the season throwing for 146 yards, a touchdown, and 2 interceptions. Now, this Falcons offense looks to get back on track versus a Saints defense, who intercepted Tom Brady 2 times. The Saints will be without quarterback Jameis Winston who tore his ACL last week. Trevor Siemian saved the day for them last week, now it’ll be interesting to see if he can continue his solid play. The Falcons defense has been very poor this weekend, but has played better in recent weeks. I believe the Falcons will keep it close, but the Saints pull out the win in the end.
Falcons 16 - Saints 19
Denver Broncos 4-4 @ Dallas Cowboys 6-1
The Denver Broncos travel to Jerry’s world to play the Cowboys. Denver defeated the Football Team last week, and will look to build off their first win since week 3. The Broncos traded Von Miller this week, so the defense, who already had several injuries, will now be without its longtime star. Dallas defeated the Vikings last week on Sunday night 20-16. Dak Prescott sat out that game with a calf strain, but backup quarterback Cooper Rush saved the day leading a game winning drive. The matchup to watch is the aerial attack of the Cowboys going up against a Broncos secondary that ranks 4th in quarterback rating and 2nd in completion percentage. The Broncos offense which has been subpar will have to score points to hang in this game. The Cowboys defense has been much better this season, and last week, showed as they held the Vikings offense in check. I expect a close game, but a late touchdown will allow Dallas to seal a 10-point victory.
Broncos 17 - Cowboys 27
New England Patriots 4-4 @ Carolina Panthers 4-4
The Patriots defeated the Chargers last week 27-24, now they have entered the AFC Wild Card race. The Panthers defeated the Falcons last week ending their 4-game losing streak. Patriots’ rookie quarterback has been efficient. I expect this to be a defensive battle, but in the end, the Panthers and their elite defense, which added former Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore, to get the win this week and began building momentum in the NFC playoff chase.
Patriots 17 - Panthers 21
Minnesota Vikings 3-4 @ Baltimore Ravens 5-2
The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a bye, and hosting the Vikings, who were defeated last week against the Cowboys. Baltimore before the bye week, suffered an embarrassing 41-17 loss to the Bengals. A matchup to watch is the Ravens run defense versus Vikings running back, Dalvin Cook. Baltimore ranks 4th in rush defense and will look to stop Dalvin who hasn’t been his usual dominant self. The Vikings have other options with their dynamic duo at wide receiver Justin Jefferson and Adam Theilen. On the other side, the Ravens offense starts and ends with their rushing attack. Lamar Jackson leads the NFL in yards per carry with 6.3. This week they play one of the worst run defenses in football. The Vikings rank 21st in rushing yards allowed per game. The Vikings are a very talented team, but they’re way too inconsistent. I’m riding with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense to pull out the win in a high scoring affair.
Vikings 27 - Ravens 31
Cleveland Browns 4-4 @ Cincinnati Bengals 5-3
This game is huge in the AFC North. The Browns have disappointed this season, including a loss at home last week to the Steelers. The Bengals on the other hand have been a surprise, but were upset by the Jets last week. Now, both teams who are fighting for their playoff lives need a win this week to get back on track. I will be picking the Bengals to win this week and keep pace with the Ravens for the AFC division lead.
Browns 24 - Bengals 30
Buffalo Bills 5-2 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1-6
It’s not much that needs to be said in this game. The Bills defeated the Dolphins last week while the Jaguars were whooped by the Seahawks. Each of the Bills 5 wins have been by double digits. The Bills defense leads the league in points allowed (15.6) and will have a field day against a young Jaguars offense that could only put up 7 points last week in Seattle. I expect the Bills to have another double-digit victory.
Bills 34 - Jaguars 16
Houston Texans 1-7 @ Miami Dolphins 1-7
A game between two of the league’s bottom tier teams. This game will be ugly. I believe the Dolphins will get their second win of the season in a matchup between two teams who will be drafting in the top 5 next April.
Texans 17 - Dolphins 19
Las Vegas Raiders 5-2 @ New York Giants 2-6
The Raiders are coming off a bye week and now more drama is in their building. Henry Ruggs was involved in a deadly DUI accident, and the team released the young receiver immediately. Now once again, they must put distractions to the side, and focus on a Giants team that is better than their 2-6 record. The Giants were defeated on Monday night against the Chiefs, now on a short week back at home, they look to get a win against a Raiders team. In the end, I think the Giants coaching staff holds their team back, just way too much, and the Raiders will get the win.
Raiders 28 - Giants 23
Sunday, November 7th 4:05 PM ET
Los Angeles Chargers 4-3 @ Philadelphia Eagles 3-5
The Chargers suffered their second straight loss last week against the Patriots, now they hope to get back on track versus the Eagles. The Eagles are 0-3 at home this season, while the Chargers are 2-1 on the road. The Chargers rank 32nd against the run. Teams average 159.4 yards per game against the Chargers this season. The Eagles offense should have a field day running the ball this week, which will give them a chance at an upset. The Eagles will fight to get their first win at home this year, but the Chargers will improve to 5-3.
Chargers 26 - Eagles 21
Sunday, November 7th 4:25 PM ET
Green Bay Packers 7-1 @ Kansas City Chiefs 4-4
This game took a major swing when quarterback Aaron Rodgers was ruled out due to COVID. As a fan, knowing we won’t see Rodgers versus Mahomes is sad. Green Bay will have Davante Adams back, but with Jordan Love making his first start in such a hostile place like Arrowhead, the Packers could be in trouble. The Packers saving grace is that the Chiefs defense is historically bad. The Chiefs have been up and down all season, but as of recent, it has been more down than up. Kansas City squeaked out a win over the Giants 20-17 on Monday night. The Packers defense has been stingy this year, last week they held the Kyler Murray and the Cardinals to their worst game of the season. The Chiefs will need to run the ball more, as the weakest link on this Green Bay defense, has been their run defense. If Rodgers was suiting up, I would’ve gone with Green Bay, but now, I’m going with the Chiefs to get a win and move over 500 for the first time since they were 1-0.
Packers 20 - Chiefs 24
Arizona Cardinals 7-1 @ San Francisco 49ers 3-4
The Cardinals suffered their first defeat last Thursday against the Packers, now look to bounce back on the road in San Francisco against their division rival. Earlier this season, the Cardinals hung on for a 17-10. The 49ers got a win over the Bears last week in Chicago, and hope to build on that this week. The Cardinals could very well be without their MVP candidate, quarterback Kyler Murray. The Cardinals run defense has been subpar and the 49ers are coming off a strong rushing performance versus the Bears. Reports say Murray should be good to go, and if he is, I expect the Cardinals to move to 8-1.
Cardinals 30 - 49ers 26
Sunday, November 7th 8:20 PM ET
Tennessee Titans 6-2 @ Los Angeles Rams 7-1
The Titans and Rams had very interesting weeks. The Titans lost Derrick Henry for the season due to a broken foot. Meanwhile, the Rams acquired Von Miller to go along with Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey on the defense. The Rams offense has been on fire scoring 26+ points the last four weeks. I’m giving the Rams the edge especially with Henry sidelined.
Titans 21 - Rams 31
Monday, November 8th 8:15 PM ET
Chicago Bears 3-5 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 4-3
The Bears suffered a defeat versus the 49ers last week while the Steelers defeated the Browns. Both offenses are subpar, but the Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields has been showing promise. The Bears defense has allowed the most sacks this season (30), and that spells trouble against the Steelers, and their pass rush led by TJ Watt. Najee Harris should have a big week against a Bears defense that allowed 145 rushing yards last week to the 49ers. The Steelers will move to 5-3 this week.
Bears 14 - Steelers 16
